How You Can Read 3 Books A Day In No Time

I read a lot, I always have. I love nonfiction books and I love me a good novel. My Kindle is one of my favourite things. I once fell asleep on my Kindle 30 minutes into an 8-hour car journey. My heart broke when woke up to find the screen smashed. This is something my husband and father-in-law refuse to let me forget.

The benefits of reading books are endless. Especially if you’re dedicated to personal development and growth. I adore learning, and I love gaining new perspectives on all sorts of things. The problem with nonfiction books is all the fluff. There are very few books that don’t repeat themselves and get straight to the point. Find out how you can read hundreds of books a year while saving time, energy and money.

This year I have been reading nonfiction books. I adore learning, and I love gaining new perspectives on all sorts of things. The problem I have with nonfiction books is all the fluff.

There are very few books that don’t repeat themselves and get straight to the point. If I don’t find myself skipping a few paragraphs here and there while I read, I'm reading a great book.

That said, if you want to be successful in anything, and grow as a person, you need to dedicate time to learning. It’s a given that reading is one of the best ways to do this!

Did you know, nearly every successful person will turn to reading as one of their first tasks of the day?

Love nonfiction books? Enter Blinkist!

Having said all that, imagine my delight when I discovered Blinkist. Blinkist takes the most significant ideas from nonfiction books and rewrites them.

Blinkist turns books into compelling, short 9-10 page snippets. Combined, these take about 10-15 minutes to read or listen. You can read or listen to a vast variety of books online, on your phone or tablet, or even on your Kindle.

Often with nonfiction books, there is a load of stuff to take away and put into action. My favourite thing about Blinkist is the inclusion of all the actionable material. Amazingly, they do this without losing any of the theory behind it. This means you know what the fantastic authors suggest you could try and exactly why they suggest it.

I now read about 2-3 books a day on pretty much any topic I want. I read early in the morning with my coffee (nope, still not given that up yet). But also, because I indulged in the Premium package, I can listen to books in the car too.

Of course, if I find a book on Blinkistit might be useful to read the whole thing, I can go off and buy it. It can take the guessing out of so many of my book purchases. Although I upgraded to premium, I reckon it has saved me a shed load of money (I buy a lot of books!).

Check me out, learning heaps of stuff every day, without even breaking a sweat! Yes, I do feel smug. That is why I recommend that everyone takes advantage of the 30-day free trial. To grab your trial, click here, or on any of the other links in this post.

Let me know how you get on. Even if you hate it!
